For Immediate Release: 10/06/2009
In September, the Public Employees Benefits Board (PEBB) Program mailed a letter to 81,000 employee and non-Medicare retiree subscribers, requesting them to provide proof of their covered family members’ eligibility or remove them from the account.
Starting the week of October 5, PEBB will mail follow-up letters to subscribers each week regarding the status of all processed documents. As of October 2, 8 percent of PEBB subscribers who received the request have successfully completed the verification process.
